SW Celebration V ESB signed Metallix Hoth Exploration print (04)

In 2010, for Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando Florida, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with a variety of show exclusives, including a series of 10" x 20" 'metallix' prints signed by Ralph McQuarrie and limited to 80 individually numbered copies for sale. This is a signed, unnumbered artist proof. The images selected were a combination of some of Ralph's most famous Empire production paintings, alongside a number of images that were not part of his Empire portfolio released by Ballantine in 1980. This is one of those new images, Ralph's 1st painting for The Empire Strikes Back featuring Han and Chewbacca surveying the surface of Hoth, near the tops of ancient structures rising from the snow.
